Spacejam Soundtrack - Various Artists

First one! Woo! Sorry I'm late, but I'm finding it pretty difficult to get an hour of listening into the day. As for this album, I like it. The whole thing has a nice 90's throwback feel, with a lot of R&B and dance/hip hop. The album opens with R. Kelly, which is awesome. He might have urinated on some underage girl, but he has a great voice. The album is a little weird in that half are studio recorded tracks (like the guys from the movie), and the other half are really popular 90's songs. So it bounces around a lot. I was surprised "Fly Like an Eagle" and "Misirlou" were on the album too. I don't really remember them being in the movie, but I guess they snuck them in there somewhere. There's also a few classics, like "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)" and "Pump Up the Jam." Really awesome songs in general. Overall, the album is pretty decent. I'm not sure that I'd listen to it in it's soundtrack form, but the songs on there are certainly of enjoyable quality.
